Mappa Burl is highly sought after, especially in solid form as most logs are used exclusively for the production of veneer. We have been fortunate enough to source some rather exceptional Mappa Burl slabs. All of our Mappa Burl slabs have been cut to 80mm thickness to allow for extra stability and we have pieces ranging up to 4m. The species is full of character, with contrasting shades of gold and often quitted grain iti s truly a breathtaking sight to behold a Mappa Burl slab piece.

Care and Maintenance

1. Regular Dusting: Use a soft, dry cloth to dust your table regularly, preventing the buildup of dirt and debris.
2. Avoid Moisture: Wipe up spills with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to prevent water damage.
3. Limit Direct Sunlight (Only for Epoxy Resin table): Position your table away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and warping of the wood.
4. Reapply Finish: Depending on usage, consider applying a wood natural oil.
5. Gentle Cleaning: For a deeper clean, use a Rubio Monocoat Soap and avoid strong chemicals that can harm the finish.
